Jay Mataji

We are located on Ajwa Road, specifically near Ravi Nagar School Road in Jivraj Park 104. Our shop, Jay Mataji, is a place where we handle a variety of daily items and local needs. Being so close to the school road means we see a lot of parents and kids passing by throughout the day. The area is usually quite loud during the morning and afternoon when school lets out. We started this business because we wanted something of our own in the neighborhood where we live. The shop is filled with various supplies, and we spend a good chunk of our time keeping the shelves organized. It’s not always easy to keep track of everything, especially when we get a large shipment in. We don’t have any special training in business, we just learned as we went along. Sometimes we make mistakes with the inventory, but we try to fix it quickly. The neighbors know us well, and we often spend time chatting with them while they browse. Jivraj Park is a nice community, and we feel like we fit in well here. Our space is modest and doesn't have any expensive decorations. We just focus on keeping the doors open and having the basics available for anyone who stops in. It’s a lot of work to keep a small shop running, but we enjoy being our own bosses and serving the people on Ajwa Road.
