Hola Mexicana

We are over here at Sainath Avenue in Fatehganj. It’s right on the main road, just beside the Emperor Building. Most people know the spot because of how busy Fatehgunj gets during the day. Hola Mexicana has been at this G 17 address for a while now. It’s not a huge place, but we keep it running. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but that is just Vadodara for you. The sign is easy to see if you are coming down from the main intersection. We spend most of our time in the kitchen or out front near the entrance. The floor is tile and we have a few tables set up. It gets a bit dusty with the road being so close, so we are always wiping things down. The staff knows the regulars who walk over from the nearby offices. We don’t really do much fancy stuff here, just the daily work of keeping the doors open. If you walk past the Emperor Building, you will see us tucked in there at G 17. The 390008 zip code area is always moving. We have some plants out front that we try to keep alive despite the heat. It’s a simple setup. The name Hola Mexicana is on the board outside. We just show up every morning and get things ready for whoever walks in from the street. Our day usually starts early and we finish up once the last person leaves.
