Vidyaniketan Residential School

You can find Vidyaniketan Residential School on the Main Road in Kaupu. We use Post Box No.15 for our mail. Being in the Udupi district, we are right in the middle of a very busy area. The school is a residential one, which means we have a lot of students living here in the hostels. The Main Road is always full of traffic, so the school gates are a bit of a barrier from all that noise. Once you are inside, it is a bit more settled. We have the dorms, the dining hall, and the school building all in one compound. Life here follows a strict clock because when you have so many kids living together, you need a plan. From breakfast in the morning to lights out at night, there is always something happening. The staff stays busy looking after the kids even after classes are over. Kaupu is a coastal town, so it gets quite humid, and we just have to live with that. The buildings are older but they are solid. We have been part of the Udupi education scene for a long time. People know us for being a place where kids can stay and focus on their books without too many distractions. It isn’t a fancy resort; it’s just a school where the students live and learn. We do our best to keep things running smoothly every single day.
