Dual Star English Medium School

Dual Star English Medium School is tucked away on Siddapura Road in Amasebail. Being out here in Udupi, we wanted to make sure local kids had a place to learn English properly without having to go all the way into the bigger towns. The school isn't very large, but we have enough space for the kids to run around and for our classrooms. Every morning, the bell rings and the place fills up with noise. It’s a lot of responsibility looking after these kids and making sure they are actually picking up their lessons. We use English in the classes, which can be a bit of a challenge at first for some, but they get used to it after a while. The staff here are quite hardworking. We spend our afternoons grading papers and planning what to teach next. Amasebail is a quiet area mostly, so the school is one of the busier spots on the road. We have parents coming in often to ask how their children are doing. We don't have fancy websites or big advertisements. Most people know us just by word of mouth or by seeing the kids in their uniforms on Siddapura Road. It's a simple setup. We focus on the books and the basics of what students need to know. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially when there is a school event or exams, but that is just how a school is. We are just doing our part for the community.
