Little Rock Indian School

You have to head out towards Brahmavara to find where we are. We are located at Priority Highlands, which is a bit of a distance from the main Udupi town. Our mailing address is actually Post Box No 7. The school sits on a decent bit of land, which is nice because there is plenty of room for the kids to move around. It’s a bit of a climb to get up here, but the air is usually a lot fresher than in the city. We have been operating in the 576213 area for a good number of years now. Most of our staff lives in the surrounding villages, so we are very much a local group of people. The school day always starts with the sound of the bell ringing, and then it is just a constant flow of classes until the late afternoon. We have the usual stuff like wooden desks, benches, and a library that actually gets used quite a bit by the older students. It is definitely not a quiet place during the day, as there are always voices coming from the classrooms or the playground. We don't have a lot of corporate rules about how we talk or act; we just focus on the teaching and making sure the kids are doing their work. When the heavy monsoon rains hit this part of Karnataka, things get a bit messy with the mud, but we manage to keep things going. It’s a solid place with history.
