Vijay Laxmi Metal

At Bhopalwadi Main Road 98, you will find Vijay Laxmi Metal. It’s a place filled with the sound of metal clinking against metal. We deal with all sorts of items, and the shop is usually quite dark inside because of how much we have stacked up. There are pots, pans, and various bits of metal everywhere you look. It can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it. The floor is concrete and always feels a bit cold, even in the summer. We spend our days moving heavy stacks around and talking to people who come in from the main road. The traffic outside is constant, and the dust from the road tends to settle on everything, so we are always wiping things down with a rag. We aren't interested in making the place look modern. It’s a traditional shop, and it looks like it. We have an old desk where we keep our accounts, and the chair is a bit wobbly. Most of the time, we are standing up anyway, helping someone find a specific size or weight of metal. It’s hard work and our hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the day. We don't mind it. It’s what we’ve always done here at number 98. It’s just a regular part of the Bhopalwadi neighborhood, and we are glad to be a part of it.
