Damascus Steel Handicraft

Our workshop and shop are located on 80 Feet Road, specifically down the Nemawat Garden Lane near Sajjan Nager. It’s a bit of a walk from the main Sajjan Garh Road, but it’s where we do all our work. We deal mostly with steel items, the kind of things that take a lot of heat and hammering to finish. The noise of the metalwork is something we’ve gotten used to over the years. This isn't one of those clean, quiet shops you see in the mall. It’s a real place where things are actually made. We have different types of knives and decorative steel pieces scattered around. Some of the stuff is still being worked on when people come in. My cousins and I manage the daily tasks, from checking the materials to cleaning up the metal shavings at the end of the day. The lane gets quiet in the evenings, which is nice after a long day of work. We started out small and haven't changed much about how we operate. We like being in this part of town because it’s where other craftsmen are too. If you are looking for us, just follow the 80 Feet Road until you see the garden lane. We don't have a big fancy storefront, just a regular door that stays open most of the day. It’s a practical business, and we just try to make things that last for whoever buys them from us.
