We are located in Loha Bazar, which is exactly what it sounds like—a place full of metal and hard work. It’s a very busy part of the city and we have been set up in this spot for quite a long time. Our main focus is on steel parts and things that farmers might need for their daily work. The shop is always packed with heavy items and that specific smell of iron that never really goes away. It gets quite loud during the day with all the loading and unloading happening right in the middle of the street. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just our workspace where we keep the goods and a small desk for the accounts. Sometimes the whole street gets blocked by a tractor or a truck, but that’s just how life is in Loha Bazar. We spend most of our time checking what we have in stock and making sure things get sent out to the right people. It is hard work and your hands and clothes stay dirty most of the day. People come in looking for specific sizes of steel or some parts for their farm machinery. We just try to find what they need and get them on their way. It’s a simple enough business with no big secrets. We’ve known the other shopkeepers for years and we all just get on with our daily tasks. It isn't a fancy place, but it's ours.
