Shree Balaji Steel Railing

We’ve been here at Navediya Sadan on Bedla Road for a while now. If you walk past, you’ll probably hear the grinders going or see someone loading up a truck with long pieces of stainless steel. It gets pretty loud and dusty inside the shop, but that is just how it goes when you are working with metal every day. We spend most of our time measuring pipes and welding them together for balconies or staircases people need for their houses. It is not fancy work, but it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. Sometimes the weather makes the steel hot to touch, or the rain slows down the deliveries, but we just manage it. The shop is right here on the main road, so it’s easy for people to stop by and ask about a gate or some railing they want made. We don't have a big office or anything, just the workspace where all the cutting and polishing happens. Mostly, it’s just us figuring out how to fit a railing into a tight corner or making sure the welds are clean enough so they don't look messy once they are installed. There is always a pile of scrap metal in the corner and a few drawings lying around on the bench. We just take one job at a time and try to get it done so we can move on to the next one waiting in the yard. It's a simple setup we have here.
