Shiv Metals

We are tucked away in Bapu Bazar Nada Khada, right near Indra Bazar. It's a busy part of town, and the shop is usually filled with the sound of metal clinking together. We’ve been here at Shiv Metals for quite some time now. The space isn’t very large, so we have to stack things high up on the shelves. Sometimes finding a specific part feels like a bit of a treasure hunt. We sell all sorts of metal goods, from small hardware bits to larger pieces people need for their homes. It gets quite hot in the summer with all the metal around, but we keep the fans running and just get on with it. We don’t have any fancy signs or bright lights. Most people find us because they’ve been coming here for years or their neighbor told them about us. We spend a lot of time counting out small items and putting them into bags. It’s repetitive work, but it pays the bills and keeps us busy. The floor is concrete and a bit cracked in places, but it holds up under the weight of the stock. We usually open up early in the morning before the traffic gets too bad. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we like being part of the local market scene here. Everyone knows everyone else in this lane, so it feels like a small community. We just keep our heads down and get the orders ready.
