Rishi Vally Schools

Our location at M I A Road No 4 puts us right in the middle of the Madri Industrial Area in Udaipur. It is a different kind of place for a school, surrounded by factories and workshops. You see a lot of trucks and workers moving around outside our gates throughout the day. Rishi Vally Schools has been operating in this industrial patch for a long time. The air often smells like grease or metal, and the roads can get quite dusty when the wind picks up. We have a solid gate to keep the noise of the machinery out as much as we can. The classrooms are simple, with basic fans and chalkboards that the teachers use every single hour. Parents who work in the nearby units often drop their children off on their way to their shifts. It is a very down-to-earth environment. We do not have lush green fields, but there is a cleared area where the kids play during their break time. Sometimes the water truck has to come by to fill the tanks. The staff room is usually cluttered with notebooks and tea cups. It is a busy place that serves the families living and working in this part of Rajasthan. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure the kids have their uniforms tidy. It is not a fancy setup, just a school doing its job in a working-class neighborhood.
