Heritage Girls School

Our school is located right off NH 8 in Udaipur. It’s a pretty easy place to find if you’re driving through the area. Being in Udaipur, we get a lot of that Rajasthani sun, but the building stays relatively cool. This is a place specifically for girls, and we’ve been operating here for a while now. The day starts with the buses arriving. We have a lot of students coming in from different parts of the city and even some from further out. Inside, it's just a normal school environment. There are hallways, classrooms, and some outdoor areas. We don’t go for anything too flashy. The focus is just on the daily schedule. Teachers spend their time in the classrooms, and the girls spend their breaks in the courtyard. It can get a bit noisy during lunch, as you’d expect. We deal with the usual school stuff, like fixing leaky taps or making sure the desks are in good shape. Life here follows the seasons. When it rains, the grounds get a bit muddy. When it’s dry, it’s quite bright. We aren't trying to be something we're not. It’s just a school for girls where they can come and learn their subjects. We see a lot of growth in the students from the time they start until they finish. It’s a lot of work for everyone involved, but we just keep at it day after day without much fuss.
