Bal Vinay Mandir Senior Secondary School

Our school is tucked away in the Mali Colony and Shavri Colony area of Udaipur. It’s a central part of the city, so it’s always quite active around here. We’ve been at this location for many years, and the building shows its age a bit, but it’s sturdy. This is a senior secondary school, so we have older students preparing for their big exams alongside the younger ones. The hallways are usually full of teenagers talking about their subjects. We have a lot of classrooms packed into the space we have. It’s a local school through and through. The parents are often our neighbors. We don’t go in for big marketing or anything like that. We just open the doors in the morning and get to work. The staff knows most of the families by name. Udaipur is a beautiful city, but inside these walls, it’s all about the textbooks and the blackboards. Sometimes the noise from the street comes in, but the kids are used to it. We have a small yard where they spend their breaks. It isn't a massive campus, but we make the most of what we have. It’s just a regular place where people from the community send their kids to get through their school years. We deal with the heat, the monsoon rains, and the daily busyness of city life right here in the colony. There is no mystery to it, just hard work.
