Shemford School

I’ve been working here at Shemford School on J 1 Rd in Udaipur City for quite some time now. It’s just a regular place where we try to get things done every day. The morning starts early when the gates open and the kids start arriving from around the neighborhood. Udaipur is a busy place, and our spot here in the city sees a lot of traffic passing by. We have classrooms that have seen many years of students sitting at the desks, and the walls have been painted more times than I can count. There isn’t anything fancy about how we do things. We just follow the schedule, make sure the teachers are in their rooms, and try to keep the place tidy. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise or the bells ring a second late, but that is just how it is. People know us because we have been right here at this address for a long period. We don't spend much time talking about fancy goals or anything like that. Mostly, we just focus on making sure the kids have their books and a place to sit. The weather in Rajasthan gets pretty hot, so we deal with that as it comes. It is a simple setup on J 1 Rd. We just keep the doors open and do the work that needs doing. It’s a local school for local families, and we just keep moving along day by day.
