Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1

Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1 is located near the Chouraha in Pratap Nagar, Udaipur. Since it’s a KV, many people already have an idea of how we operate. It’s a government school, so things are done by the book. We have a lot of students whose parents work in government jobs and get transferred around, so we see new faces quite often. The campus is fairly large, and we have the usual setup of blocks for different grade levels. It’s not a luxury school; it’s a place built for function. We have assembly every morning, which is a bit of a loud affair with all those students in one place. The teachers here have a lot of experience and they don't have time for fluff. They just want to get through the lessons and make sure the students are prepared for the board exams. The playground gets a lot of use, especially for basketball and PT drills. Udaipur is a beautiful city, and our location in Pratap Nagar makes us accessible for a lot of people living in that area. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks because we don't really need to. People know what a KV offers. It’s just about hard work, regular classes, and making sure the school day runs without too many hiccups. We focus on the curriculum and the students, keeping it simple and honest as we go through the year.
