Shri Jain Agarwal Secondary School

Our school, Shri Jain Agarwal Secondary School, is tucked away at 80, Dhan Mandi Road in Udaipur City. If you know Udaipur, you know the Dhan Mandi area is always full of people and activity. It is the heart of the old city in many ways. Because of our location, there is always something happening right outside our doors. We have a lot of history in this building. It is not a new, modern structure with elevators. It has stairs that have been climbed by generations of students. We have secondary classes, so the students are a bit older and more serious about their studies. We try to keep the atmosphere calm despite the noise of the market nearby. The teachers here have been with us for a long time. We know the families in the lanes around Dhan Mandi very well. Our classrooms are filled with the sound of pens scratching on paper and teachers explaining math or history. We don't have a big playground, so we make do with what we have. It is a very traditional setup. We don't use any marketing tricks to get people to come here. They come because we have been a part of Udaipur for a long time and they trust us. It is just a school run by people who live and breathe this city every single day. We keep the doors open and the chalkboards ready for whoever walks in to learn.
