Guru Nanak Public Senior Secondary School

This school sits right on Delhi Gate Road in Udaipur City. It’s a busy part of town and there’s always something happening outside our gates. Guru Nanak Public Senior Secondary School has been around for a long time, so the building has some history to it. We handle students from the primary years all the way up to their final senior secondary exams. The hallways are usually full of teenagers rushing to their next class or sitting on the benches talking. It’s a big place, but we try to keep track of everyone. Teaching here is about getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids understand what’s going to be on their tests. We have a lot of classrooms and the desks are getting a bit old, but they work fine. Most of the teachers have been here for years and they know the local families by name. Udaipur is a beautiful city, and being right in the center means we are easy to get to by bus or rickshaw. We don't have a lot of empty space, but we make use of every corner we have for activities or extra study groups. In the afternoons, you'll see groups of students heading home or hanging out near the entrance. It’s just a normal school where everyone is working hard to get an education and move on to college. We focus on the books and the lessons, keeping things straightforward for the parents and the kids alike.
