Sophia Public School

Sophia Public School sits on Bhilwara Road in Rajsamand. It’s right there on the main stretch, so it's easy to find but also gets a lot of the road noise. The landscape around Rajsamand is pretty rugged, and you can see the hills in the distance from our upper windows. The school itself is a straightforward building with a paved yard where the kids play. We don't have a lot of fancy landscaping, just a few potted plants near the entrance that we try to keep alive during the dry season. The staff here is mostly local folks who have been around for years. We spend our days following the schedule, teaching the subjects, and making sure the kids don't get into too much trouble during the breaks. The desks are the old-fashioned kind, and the floors are easy to sweep, which is important because of all the dirt that blows in from the road. We don't use a lot of big words or have complicated rules. It’s just a place where kids come to get their education so they can do something with their lives later on. Sometimes the water pump acts up or a light bulb flickers, and we just fix it and keep going. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment for everyone involved. Most of the parents work nearby, so we see them often. It’s just a basic school for a hardworking town.
