Our shop is located at Krishna Complex on Sukher Road, right in the middle of all the marble action in Udaipur. If you know the Pulan area, you know how busy it gets with all the stone being moved around. Poonam Marbles & Marble Art World has been sitting here at 19/970 for quite some time. We have a mix of raw slabs and some of the more artistic pieces that the local carvers work on. It’s a messy business, honestly. There is white dust everywhere, and your shoes are never clean at the end of the shift. We spend a lot of time showing people different blocks of stone and talking about which one looks right. Some days are slow, just waiting for someone to pull into the lot, and other days it feels like everyone wants something at the same time. The Ashish Dhai Bhai Ji Ki Bari landmark helps people find us since the complex can be a bit tucked away if you aren’t looking for it. We aren't a big corporate showroom with air conditioning and fancy lights. It’s just a place where we keep the stock and do our work. We try to keep things organized, but when you deal with heavy marble, things just end up where they fit. We’re just local folks who know a lot about stone and we don't mind getting our hands dirty to get the job done right.
