If you drive out on the Dabok Mavali Road, you will find Manish Steel & Cement Suppliers where we keep our inventory. It is a bit further out than some other shops, which gives us a bit more room to spread out our items. Having both steel and cement means we have to deal with very different types of materials. The steel rods are long and heavy, and they make a loud ringing sound whenever they are moved or cut. Then we have the cement bags, which are dusty and need to be kept under a roof. The yard is usually a bit of a mess with scraps of wire and bits of concrete, but we know where everything is. The sun can be quite brutal out here on Dabok Mavali Road since there isn't much shade around the yard. We have a small cabin where we stay during the hottest part of the day to do our paperwork and eat our lunch.
