Eklavya Model Residential School

You can find Eklavya Model Residential School right on the Main Road in Village Kherwara. We are located in the Khagdar block, quite close to the NH-8 highway. Since we are near the highway, there is always a bit of traffic noise, but it makes it easy for the supply trucks to reach us. Being a residential school, there is always someone here, day or night. The buildings are spread out a bit on the property. We have dorms for the students and a separate area for the classrooms. It’s a practical layout meant for living and studying. The village surrounding us is quiet for the most part. We have a large open area where the kids play football or just sit around in the evenings. The kitchen staff stays busy preparing meals for everyone, and you can usually smell whatever is cooking from the front gate. We deal with the usual problems like patchy internet or the water pump acting up occasionally. That’s just life out here in Khagdar. The staff rooms are basic but comfortable enough. We don't really have a front desk in the traditional sense; you just walk in and find whoever is available in the main office. People from the village often stop by to chat. It’s a community-focused place where we all live and work together. The proximity to NH-8 means we aren't too isolated, which is nice for everyone staying here. We usually have a bit of a breeze.
