Classic Metal

Classic Metal is situated right at Badi Holi. This part of the city is very old, and our shop has been here for a long time. We have all kinds of metal items, mostly things for the kitchen like pots, pans, and plates made of steel and brass. The shop is quite deep and dark, and it smells like metal and old stone. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights to show off the goods. Most things are just stacked in piles or hung from hooks on the walls. It can be quite loud when we are moving the heavy metal sheets or crates around. We don’t have a website or do any kind of modern marketing. People in the area know us because we’ve been at Badi Holi for years. We spend a lot of time cleaning the dust off the copper items so they don't lose their shine. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and carrying, but we are used to it by now. The street outside is narrow and can get very crowded with people and animals, especially during the festival times. We just stay inside and handle the customers who come looking for sturdy metal ware. It’s not a glamorous business, but it’s ours. We don’t try to be anything special, just a place where you can find honest metal products that will last for a long time. We usually close up when it starts to get dark because the lighting inside isn't the best.
