Art & Crafts India

You can find us at Gulab Bagh, over in the Chankya Puri part of Hiran Magari. The building number is 313. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but it’s quieter back here. At Art & Crafts India, we spend our time surrounded by a lot of different things. We’ve got wood pieces, some fabrics, and various bits and pieces we've collected. It’s not the most organized place in the world, to be honest. There are piles of things in the corners that we haven't touched in months. We just like making things and finding things that look nice. Some of the guys who work here have been doing this since they were kids. We sit on the floor mostly while we work because it’s more comfortable for us. The windows stay open to let the breeze in, though it brings in a lot of dust too. We don't really have a set schedule, we just show up and start working on whatever project is next. Sometimes visitors wander in and we show them around, but we aren't really set up for tourists. It’s more of a workshop than a store. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the weather or the local news while we work. It’s a decent life. We don't want to be some big corporation. We just want to keep making our crafts and staying busy here in 313.
