Madras Cements Ltd

Madras Cements Ltd is located at No:10A in the Lakshmi Arcade. We are on the second floor. It’s easy to find because we are right opposite the HDFC Bank on 11th Cross Street in Thillai Nagar. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep. There is an elevator, but it’s a bit slow so most of us just walk up. Thillai Nagar is a very busy area. Finding a spot for a scooter can be tough in the afternoons. Our office is just a few rooms knocked together. We have a view of the street from the balcony. It’s noisy with all the horns honking below. We get used to it after a while. The desks are covered in papers and folders. We have a small corner where we keep the water cooler. That’s the most popular spot in the office. People come in and out all day. Some are customers, some are just delivery guys bringing mail. We don't have any fancy receptionists. You just walk in and someone will help you. We have been in Lakshmi Arcade for a good while now. We know the other shop owners in the building. It’s a good location for business. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s nothing spectacular, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills.
