Lakshmi R C C Spun Pipes is located at No.-5/36 Chidambaram Salai. We are right there in Kallakudi, Dalmiapuram. It’s an industrial sort of area, and we fit right in. The work we do involves a lot of concrete and heavy machinery. It’s noisy and messy, but that is the nature of making pipes. We spend our days out there on Chidambaram Salai, making sure the mix is right and the pipes come out the way they should. The yard is big because these pipes take up a lot of room. You can see them stacked up from the road. We’ve been doing this for a long time, and the crew knows the routine by heart. We don’t talk much about visions or strategies here. We just talk about the schedule and whether the equipment is running smoothly. Some mornings it is hard to get the engines started when it’s damp out, but we always manage. It’s a lot of physical labor, and everyone goes home tired at the end of the day. We like it that way. It feels like we’ve actually built something real.
