Dalmia Cement Bharat Ltd

We are based out of G/250 Gandhi Nagar in Dalmiapuram. This place is pretty much synonymous with the company name, Dalmia Cement Bharat Ltd, and it has been that way for a long time. Being in the Trichy district of Tamil Nadu, it is a very specific kind of community here. Everyone in the Po area knows where we are. The office is quite old-fashioned, with high ceilings and heavy wooden furniture that has been around for decades. We don't have much use for fancy modern designs because the old way of doing things still works just fine for us. There is a lot of history in these walls. You can hear the sounds of the nearby plant if you listen closely, which reminds us of what we are here for. We keep our records in big bound ledgers, and there is a certain rhythm to the work here that you don't find in the big cities. The people who come by are often neighbors or people who have worked with us for generations. We drink a lot of local coffee and spend our time tracking the movements of the trains and trucks. It is a quiet, steady kind of work. We don't try to be anything we are not. We are just the local office in a town that was built on cement, doing our part every day.
