Jayaram And Company is located at 4-A on Madurai Road. This is a very busy stretch of road, so there is always the sound of horns and engines passing by outside. Our building is a plain, functional space that serves us well for our daily operations. We don't have any big signs or bright lights to attract attention. It’s just 4-A, a place where we come to work every morning. Inside, it’s a bit cooler than the street, though the dust still finds its way in through the windows. We have a few desks and a lot of ledgers and files stacked up. We still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way because it works for us. The people working here have been together for quite some time, so we move around each other easily. We don't use any fancy language or have big meetings. We just talk about what needs to be done and then we do it. Sometimes we sit on the steps outside during our lunch break and watch the traffic go by on Madurai Road. It’s a good spot to see the city moving. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most famous company out there. We just want to handle our business at Jayaram And Company and go home to our families at the end of the day. It’s a simple life, but it’s ours and we are used to the rhythm of it.
