Travancore Kitchen

We are located on MG Road in Thampanoor, right in the heart of Trivandrum. Our address is TC 25/2258(1), which is very close to the GPO. If you know this area, you know how busy it gets with all the buses and people walking to the station. Travancore Kitchen is a small spot where we focus on the local food we grew up with. It's not a big fancy hall. It's just a simple room with enough tables for the lunch rush. We get a lot of people who work in the nearby government offices. They usually want a quick meal that tastes like it was made at home. We do fish curry and rice, and whatever vegetables are fresh that day. The kitchen is always steaming and it gets pretty warm inside during the afternoon. We've been in this 695001 spot for many years now. The walls have been repainted a few times, but the feel of the place stays the same. We don't have a website or do much on the internet. Most people find us by walking past or hearing about us from a friend. We just try to keep the prices low so everyone can afford a good meal. It’s a bit cramped when it’s full, but nobody seems to mind much. We just keep serving the food we know best, day after day.
