Baawarchi The Royal Chef

Baawarchi The Royal Chef is located in RK Tower over in Kazhakootum. If you know where the Honda showroom is, we are right across from it. Thiruvananthapuram has a lot of places to eat, but we just stay focused on our kitchen here in Ambalathingara. It’s a busy street, especially with all the traffic coming through Kazhakootum. We spend most of our mornings getting things ready for the day. It’s hard work, but we’ve gotten used to the routine. The name sounds a bit fancy, but we’re just regular people back in the kitchen making food. We don’t do much advertising; mostly it’s just people seeing us as they drive by or walking over from the nearby offices. The space inside is simple. We didn’t spend a lot on decorations because we think the food is what matters more. Sometimes we run out of things if it’s a particularly busy afternoon, so we just do what we can. Our staff has been here for a while and they know how we like things done. We aren’t trying to change the world, just trying to make sure people leave with a full stomach. It gets hot in the kitchen, but that’s part of the job. If you’re passing by RK Tower and need a bite, come see us. We’ll be here near the main road. It is nothing too complicated, just us working every day.
