Lamiya Food Palace

Our place is located in the Sivaprasadam Complex in Kaithamukku. If you are looking for us, we are right below the Red Rose Beauty Parlour. It’s a bit of a funny spot because you can hear the hair dryers going sometimes if it is quiet. Thiruvananthapuram gets really humid so we spend a lot of time making sure the fans are working and the place is comfortable for whoever walks in. We are not a big food court, just a local spot where we serve up meals every day. The kitchen is always busy with pots and pans clanking around. We have a few tables and chairs that have seen better days but they do the job just fine. Most of our customers are people who work in the complex or live in the nearby houses. We don't have a big menu with a hundred things on it, we just stick to what we know how to make. Sometimes we run out of things early if it’s a busy day. We do all the washing and prep work ourselves so it is a long day from start to finish. The neighborhood is fairly quiet except for the traffic on the main road. We are just trying to run a decent place where people can eat without any fuss. It is a simple life and we are happy to be part of the community here.
