Thakkaaram Idavazhi

We've been here at M G Road for a bit now, right by Statue Junction. Most people know the spot because it's so close to Felicity Square. It gets busy around here, being in Thiruvananthapuram, but we just keep doing what we do. Thakkaaram Idavazhi isn't a fancy place, just a spot to get some food when you're passing through or working nearby. We see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. Sometimes the traffic outside is a mess, but once you step in, it's just about the meal. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It's just a handful of us making sure the kitchen stays running and the tables are clean. If you're looking for us, we're right there near the junction. People stop in during their lunch breaks or after they finish up at the offices nearby. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just open up the doors every morning and get things ready for the day. Sometimes we run out of stuff early, or it gets a bit loud when it's full, but that's just how a local place is. We’ve been at this address for a while and we know the neighborhood pretty well. It's a straightforward setup. No big bells or whistles here, just the food and a place to sit for a while before heading back out into the heat.
