Spd Women Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are a group of women farmers based in Ketti, right in the heart of The Nilgiris. Our office is at No 8/182, B3, just across from the CSI College in Prakasapuram. It’s a cool place to work, though the mist gets thick sometimes and you can't see the road very clearly. We all have our own small plots of land where we grow vegetables and other local crops. We decided to start this producer company because it was getting hard to manage everything alone. By coming together, we can handle the sorting, packing, and selling much better. Most days you’ll find some of us here at the office, but usually, we’re out in the fields checking on the plants. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It's just us, the women from the village, trying to make the farming business work for our families. We use simple tools and traditional ways mostly. Sometimes we have meetings to figure out which crops to plant next or how to deal with the pests. It’s not always easy, and there are days when the prices aren't what we hoped for. But we keep going. If you're passing by Prakasapuram, you’ll probably see us working. We just want to do a decent job and keep the farms running well. It's a busy life, but it's what we know.
