Gudalur Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our place is at No 12/360 on Thoodamala Road, which is in the Chavadipet area of Gudalur. It’s a busy part of the Nilgiris, especially with all the transport moving through. We are a farmers' producer company, which basically means we are a bunch of local growers who decided to handle our business together. Gudalur is a great place for farming, but it can be challenging with the heavy rains and the wildlife sometimes getting into the fields. We mostly deal with tea, coffee, and spices that grow well in this high altitude. Our office on Thoodamala Road is where we sort out the logistics. It’s not a polished place, just a workspace with some desks and a lot of registers. We spend a lot of time talking to our members, who are all small-scale farmers from around the district. We don't have a mission statement or any fancy goals other than just getting a fair price for what we grow. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until late in the evening. There’s always some paperwork to finish or a truck to wait for. We don’t try to act like a big city company. We are just local people who know the soil and the crops.
