Billimora Agrotech Private Limited is up here in Ooty, right near the Rose Garden at Bombay Castle. It’s a pretty nice spot, even if the tourists get a bit much during the season. We are at T.S No D-3/37/1-B40/3, which sounds like a complicated address but once you’re in the Nilgiris, you just look for the landmarks. The air is always a bit chilly in the mornings so we usually start the day with some hot coffee before getting into the agrotech side of things. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know about farming and the local land around here. People come by after walking through the gardens and sometimes they poke their heads in to see what we are doing. We work with different agricultural stuff, mostly helping out with what the local farmers need for their crops. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place where we keep our files and meet up. Living in Ooty means everything moves a bit slower and we like it that way. Being in the Nilgiris district gives us a good connection to the soil and the people who actually grow things. If you ever find yourself wandering near the Rose Garden, you might see our sign. It’s just a simple operation and we try to do our bit without making a big fuss about it. Anyway, that's pretty much who we are.
