Tulsi Caterers

Tulsi Caterers is located right at Shitala Devi Chowk on Amardham Road. It’s a busy intersection in the Kumbharwada area. We spend most of our time here getting everything ready for various events. The kitchen gets hot, especially during the summer months, but we just keep the doors open to let the breeze in from the street. You can always hear the horns and people talking outside the chowk. We have our big pots and serving trays stacked up along the walls. There is usually someone cleaning rice or checking the stock in the back room. The building is older, but it serves us well enough for what we do. Amardham Road has a lot of movement, so there is never a dull moment. We don't spend much on decorations or making the place look sleek. It is a functional space for cooking and packing. Sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time parking right in front because the road is narrow, but we make it work. Most of us have been working together for a long time. We start early, often before the sun is fully up, to get a head start on the day's tasks. It's a simple life of managing food and schedules. Being in the heart of Kumbharwada means we are close to everything we need. We just focus on the work at hand and keeping the kitchen running smoothly every single day. The floor always needs another sweep by the time we finish.
