Swagatam Watch

Our shop, Swagatam Watch, is tucked into the 5 Rangavdhut Shopping Centre. It’s near Matavadi in the Adajan Dn area, specifically around 22Nd Main and 9Th Cross. It’s a bit of a mouthful to explain the location to people who aren't from around here, but the locals know the spot. We’ve been focusing on watches for a long time. The shopping center has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it. We deal with all sorts of watches, from the cheap plastic ones kids wear to the heavy metal ones that people save up for. Most of what we do is just maintenance. Cleaning out dust, fixing a clasp, or replacing a battery. It's steady work. We don't have a huge staff, usually just one or two of us behind the glass. We talk to the neighbors and the other shop owners while we work. Adajan is a busy place, and there’s always something happening outside. Inside the shop, it’s mostly quiet except for the ticking. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. We just show up, open the shutters, and start working on whatever is on the desk. Sometimes people just stop by to chat while they wait for a minor fix. It’s a comfortable way to spend the day. We’ve seen a lot of watches come and go, and we plan to stay right here at Rangavdhut. It is just a simple shop for regular people.
