Vaibhavi Lace

You can find us over at No. 1 Kadiwala Estate in Khatodra. We are tucked away near the Sandesh Press, which is a big landmark around here. The estate itself has a lot of history, and you can see it in the walls and the old gates. Vaibhavi Lace is a small operation, and we like it that way. Most of the day is spent working with the materials and making sure everything looks right. It’s a bit of a maze getting into the estate if you haven't been here before, but once you find unit number one, you’re there. The noise from the press nearby is something you just get used to after the first week. We have a few old wooden tables where we do most of our sorting and packing. The lighting isn't the best in some corners, so we have some extra lamps around the workspace. It’s a bit dusty, as you’d expect from a place that’s been around for years. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us doing the work. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps during lunch to catch a bit of a breeze. Khatodra is a busy industrial area, so there is always something going on nearby. We’ve known the guys in the neighboring units for years. It’s a steady, honest place to spend a workday, and we’re quite content with the way things are.
