Nayan Optical

Nayan Optical is tucked away on the 2nd lane of Varacha Road. We are in the Sai Prabhu Complex, right beside Pancharwala. It’s a busy little spot. Varacha is always loud and full of energy, and our lane is no different. We spend our days fixing frames and helping people see a bit better. The shop is small, so we have to be careful where we put things. It’s mostly just us here, working under the tube lights. We aren’t looking to be some huge chain. We like the way things are. Most of our customers are folks from the neighborhood who’ve been coming to us for years. They bring in their broken glasses, and we see what we can do. Sometimes the frames are so old we can't find parts, but we try anyway. Beside us, Pancharwala is always busy too, so there’s always someone standing around outside. We’ve got a couple of mirrors on the wall and a few chairs for people to wait. It gets hot in the afternoons, so the fan is always running. We don’t have any big marketing plans. We just open the doors in the morning and wait to see who comes in. It’s an honest way to make a living. We’ve seen the road change a lot over the years, but we’re still right here in the same spot, doing what we know how to do.
