Aakash Chasmaghar

Aakash Chasmaghar is situated at 3 Varachha Road, over by the Sanskruti 90 Feet Road. We are part of the Avdurga Society, right next to the Chowpati area. It is a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of traffic passing by our front door. Being near the Chowpati means things get especially lively in the evenings. We spend our time working with glasses and frames, making sure things fit right. The shop is cozy, maybe a bit tight when a few people come in at once, but we manage. We have shelves lined with different styles, and we spend a good chunk of the day just keeping them clean from dust. The 90 Feet Road is a main path for many, so we see a lot of familiar faces walking by. It is a simple business, really. We open up, tidy the place, and wait for folks who need their eyes looked at or a new pair of frames. Sometimes the noise from Varachha Road gets a bit loud, but you get used to it after a week or two. We do not have a big corporate team; it is just us here doing the work. We like being in Avdurga Society because it feels like a real community. People pop in just to chat sometimes while they are out for a walk near the water. It is just how we run things day to day without any extra bells and whistles.
