Zaed Opticals

Zaed Opticals is out at Kamrej Char Rasta. We are right on New Kosad Road, specifically in the Raghuvir Society area. It’s a busy crossing with a lot of dust and noise from the trucks going by. Our shop isn’t very large, but we’ve managed to fit a good selection of frames on the walls. We spend a lot of our time adjusting the little screws on glasses or cleaning lenses for people who drop by. The Raghuvir Society is right there, so many of our customers are just neighbors who’ve known us for years. We usually have a pot of tea going in the back. When the sun hits the shop in the afternoon, it gets quite warm, so we keep the fan on high. We aren’t a big chain or anything, just a local spot where you can get your eyes checked and find something to wear. Sometimes the kids from the society come in and mess with the displays, but we don’t mind much. It’s part of being in the neighborhood. We know most people by name, and they know us. The shop has been here for a while now, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels comfortable. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure people can see clearly when they leave our door. We stay open until the street lights come on.
