We are located in Jash Market, right near Reshamwala Market on the Ring Road. Our shop is number 2031. It’s one of those spots where you have to watch your step because of all the bundles lying around the corridors. The market is always packed, and our shop is no different. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, so we use a ladder a lot. Sometimes it feels like we spend half the day just climbing up and down. It’s a bit dark in the back of the store, but we have a couple of good lamps. We get a lot of regular people who have been coming to this part of the Ring Road for years. They know where we are. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorations. The focus is just on the stock we have on hand. Dealing with the suppliers can be a bit of a struggle when the trucks are late, but we manage. The tea here in Jash Market is actually pretty good, so we drink a lot of it while we wait for customers. It’s a lot of talking and bargaining. That is just how the business works here. We keep the ledger by the front door and try to stay on top of the numbers. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know. We just take it one day at a time.
