Shivam Lace

Our workshop is Shed Number 39 in the Atmanand Industrial Society- 2. We are located near the Bamroli Bridge in the Bamroli area. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s not exactly a place for a Sunday stroll. It’s mostly factories and warehouses around us. We spend our time here making and handling lace. The machines can be quite loud, and the floor is usually covered in little bits of thread and scrap. We don’t have an office with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just the shed where we work every day. It gets hot in the summer, but we just keep the fans going and get through it. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. Most people who come here are looking for bulk orders, and they know the Bamroli area can be a bit dusty. We don’t bother with fancy packaging or anything promotional. We just make the lace and get it ready to go out. It’s honest work, even if it’s a bit tiring. The industrial society is a busy place with trucks coming and going all the time. We fit right in with the rest of the businesses here. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished look. We just want to make sure the machines are running and the work gets finished. That’s how we do things at Shed 39.
