Our shop is located at number 652 inside the Abhishek Textile Market. Being right on Ring Road means there is always a lot of traffic and noise outside, but once you get inside the market walls, it is all about the fabric and the trade. We have been here for a good bit now, dealing with the daily bustle of the textile world. It is not really a glamorous job. Most of our time is spent checking rolls of cloth, talking to transporters, and making sure the shop floor is not too cluttered with plastic wrap and hangers. The market gets very crowded during the peak seasons, and sometimes it feels like there is not enough room to breathe, but we manage to get through it. We do not have a flashy website or a big marketing team behind us. We just rely on the people who come to the market every day. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that is the best part of the afternoon. We focus on getting the stock in and selling it at a price that makes sense for everyone. It is a straightforward way to earn a living. The shop is not huge, so we have to use every inch of the shelf space we have. If you are familiar with the Ring Road area, you know how hectic it gets with all the trucks. We are just one small part of that big machine.
