Mr Egg

If you're ever around the Piplod area, you might find us at 34/36 in the Lg Indralok Complex. We’re right across from the Lake View Garden, which is a nice view to have when things aren't too frantic. Mr Egg is basically what it says on the sign; we spend most of our time cracking shells and working the stove. The kitchen gets pretty hot, especially when the lunch and dinner rushes hit at the same time and the orders start piling up on the spindle. It’s a small shop in Sector 34 A, and things can get a bit cramped when there’s a lot of people waiting for their food. We don’t have fancy menus or anything, just the usual favorites that people around here seem to like. Sometimes we run out of something or the delivery guy is late with the crates, and we just have to make do with what’s in the fridge. The floor can get a little slippery by the end of the shift, so we have to be careful when we’re moving fast. It’s a lot of scrubbing pans and wiping down counters, but it’s good to see familiar faces from the neighborhood coming back day after day. When it’s quiet, we like to step outside for a breath of air and look over at the garden. It’s a simple life, just cooking and serving, and that works for us.
