Modi Exports Surat

We are based out of the Millenium Textile Market on Ring Road. Specifically, we are in unit D-4189/90. Surat is a massive place for textiles, and being right here in the middle of it means it’s never quiet. The halls of the market are always full of people moving carts and shouting over the noise. Our space is filled with rolls of cloth and packing materials. Most of the time, we’re busy boxing things up to be sent out. It’s a lot of lifting and tape guns. Modi Exports Surat isn't some high-end showroom. It’s a working warehouse where things get done. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the shipping logs. The Ring Road area is always congested, so we’ve learned to be patient with the trucks. Sometimes we have a quick lunch at our desks because the orders are piling up. It’s just a few of us here making sure the numbers match and the labels are on straight. We don’t have much time for small talk, but we try to be helpful when someone stops by the unit. The air in the market always smells like new fabric and dust. That’s just the way it is here. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and don't plan on moving anytime soon. When the market shuts down for the evening, the silence is always a bit strange after such a loud day.
