You have to head up to the second floor of Balaji Krupa to find us. Krunchy Bites is tucked away in Limbu Sheri, which is in the Mahidharpura area. It’s a tight street, typical for this part of the city, and it’s always lively. Our kitchen and packing area take up most of the space. You can usually smell what we are making before you even get up the stairs. We started this because we liked making snacks, and it just grew into a full-time job. It’s a lot of manual work—frying, cooling, and packing everything into bags. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the quality is okay and the bags are sealed right. The floor is usually a bit dusty from the flour, and the heat from the stoves stays trapped in the room. We take turns handling the deliveries and answering the phone. It’s a bit chaotic during the festival seasons when everyone wants extra stock. We’ve had the same neighbors for years, and they often pop in just to say hello or see what’s cooking. It’s a simple business run out of a simple room. We don't spend money on fancy packaging, just the clear stuff so you can see what’s inside. It’s just us doing what we know how to do.
