Harry Fashion is located right inside Kailash Apartment, specifically at E-322. It’s pretty close to Happy Bungalows on L. H. Road, so most locals know the area well. It’s not your typical shopfront on a main street; it’s more of a home-based setup that grew a bit over time. We have a couple of rooms dedicated just to the garments. It can get pretty cramped when a new shipment of fabric arrives. We usually have to move the chairs out of the way just to walk through the hall. My brother and I started this because we knew a lot about fabrics from our father. We don’t do much advertising. People usually just hear about us from their neighbors or friends. It’s a quiet spot most days, except when the sewing machines are going full speed. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon before finishing up the last few pieces for the day. The lighting in the back room isn’t the best, so we use some extra lamps to make sure the seams are straight. We handle everything from picking the material to the final packing. It’s a simple operation, really. Being near Happy Bungalows is nice because it’s a bit calmer than the main market area. We like it this way. It feels more personal when someone stops by to pick up their order at E-322. We’re just regular people trying to do a good job with the fabric we have.
