You can find Mayur Fashion on the 2nd Floor of the Gujarat Industry building. We are at units 4-5. The place is right near the Reliance Petrol Pump on Ved Road, which is a very busy industrial area. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a breeze sometimes, but mostly it's just the sound of machinery and traffic from below. We work on all sorts of fashion items here. It’s a crowded space with rolls of cloth and patterns everywhere you look. The building itself is older and has that industrial feel to it, with lots of other small units doing different things. We spend a lot of time cutting and sewing. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a showroom. It’s more of a workshop where the actual work happens. The stairs are a bit steep, but we are used to carrying stuff up and down. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the entrance downstairs, so things get a bit chaotic in the mornings. We just try to stay focused on the tasks we have for the day. The lighting is bright because we need to see what we are doing with the small details. It’s a hardworking environment and most of us have been doing this for years. It’s just how we make a living, tucked away in this industrial pocket of the city, keeping up with the orders.
