Our kitchen and office space are over at Ascon Plaza on Anand Mahal Road, specifically units G/32 and 33. It’s a busy part of town and we are usually there quite early in the morning before the sun is even fully up. Being a catering business, the place usually smells like spices or whatever we are prepping for that day’s orders. It’s not a quiet office. There is a lot of banging of pots and the sound of water running and people shouting instructions over the noise of the exhaust fans. We have been at Ascon Plaza for a while and the location is good for getting things moved in and out quickly. The space is mostly filled with stainless steel tables and big burners, with a small corner for the desk where we handle the bookings and the phone calls. Geetha Caterers isn't a fancy corporate setup. It is a working kitchen where things get hot and messy. Sometimes the floor is wet from being scrubbed and there are always crates of vegetables or bags of rice sitting near the entrance. We just focus on getting the food right and making sure it gets to where it needs to be on time. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but we like the bustle of Anand Mahal Road and the steady rhythm of the kitchen.
