You can find us at Mota Varachha, up on the first floor of Cears Plaza. The address is 136 Residency Road in Bangalore 5. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a pan shop, being on the first floor and all. Most people expect us to be right on the sidewalk. But we’ve been here in this building for a while. We have a small counter where we prepare everything. Since we are in a plaza, we get a lot of people who work in the offices nearby. They come up the stairs during their breaks. It’s a bit quieter than being right on the street level, which is nice sometimes. We have all the usual pan varieties and some other small items. The hallway outside can get a bit dark if the building lights aren't all working, but we keep our shop bright. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass jars and making sure the leaves are fresh. It’s a small space, so we have to stay organized or we’d never find anything. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so people have to take the stairs to reach us. We don’t have any big flashy posters. Just a simple counter and the smell of the ingredients. Most of our customers are regulars who know exactly where to find us in Cears Plaza. We just stay here and keep things moving, serving whoever comes up the stairs looking for a bit of pan.
